Breakaways Tours take
approximately 4 hours and include everything you see
on the town tour plus a trip out to the Breakaways.
The Breakaways, once part of The Flinders Ranges, have been broken
away by the inland sea that used to cover this area between 60
-120 million years ago.
Dozens of movies have been shot here including “Mad Max III” “Priscilla
Queen of the Desert” “Ground Zero” “Salute of the
Jugger” "Siam Sunset" and “Pitch Black” to name
just a few.
The Dingo Fence cuts thru the middle of this park
and you can
drive thru
the areas that were used for many major movie productions. |
