TV reception is generally available and Telstra reception can be enjoyed also. (Optus, yeah, not so much) highly recommend 3 night stay in Coober to see be best of the best. What a great little place! We felt so safe here and really enjoyed what seemed like a very authentic representation of Coober Pedy. We left the parents in a powered site and went underground with the kids. A once in a lifetime experience we would highly recommend. Our hosts were lovely and very friendly also.

In 2002 I stayed underground and decided right then and there I wanted to live underground, and 15 years later my dream was realised and it changed my life for the better.
